This is an exceptional watch in every aspect: Workmanship, detailing, quality of materials and finish. The overall appearance is one of an expensive watch from the nice blend of highly-polished and brushed satin finish stainless steel to the very nice padded leather strap and the overall retro 1940s look. The champagne dial has a subtle textured pattern of tiny, tightly-spaced vertical lines that give the watch an elegant, dressy look that melds well with the sporty character of the 3-subdial chronograph. At the list of $115, this watch would be worth every penny; at the Amazon price I paid of $43.95, it's a near steal.
