I had previously purchased a watch of the same design from another company and I have become very happy with this watch...when seeing it in the stores I thought the leather was a bit too rigid... now after about two months it has softened up real nice....oh yeah... it keeps time also...

Review of Nixon DISTRICT Band: Gunmetal Face: Gunmetal (A048)

Found it to be a bit bland in real life as a watc but it still looks quite elegant and well-made. It is sized BIG , if you have smaller wrists you will have to get the watch adjusted by a jeweler before you can wear it.

Review of Nixon Vega Wood Watch - Women's

I put this watch on my Amazon wishlist before Christmas and I found it in my stocking on Christmas morning.I was beyond excited! I normally don't wear a watch, but I like that this is a stretchy, bracelet type and doesn't have a latching system, you just slip it on.My wrists are not tiny, and this fits perfectly.The red is really a good color, too! I have received multiple compliments from strangers on my watch and it looks good with just about everything.

I have to say that I can't wear this for prolonged periods because due to the fact that it is hard plastic, it makes my wrist sweat after a while.I don't know if it's just me or if it would happen to anybody, but I've never had a watch that made my wrist sweat before.

I don't reach for this watch and wear it as much as I thought I would, but it's a cute occasional accessory AND it keeps time.
