You'll snap the pins in your watch and tear it off the band before the band will ever let go of your wrist.No doubt this is one strong band.But its bulky bulky bulky.The white hemp material is surprisingly thick (thicker than any of the materials in my other Chisco bands) and though I have an average sized male wrist this wraps around my wrist about 1.25 times which mean the thickness doubles up.If you could cut this band down it would certainly be a better fit, but there's no easy way to do that without risk of fraying the hemp material (its prety thick cord).But its not worth it to return so I'm out around 11 bucks.
Went to the local superstore and picked up a Timex Expedition Fast Wrap band instead - much much better (and better looking) velcro band in my opinion.If you're looking for a band to skydive or surf with this (or the regular Band) is a good choice.The hold is supreme.
But your sports are a little less extreme - hiking, biking, snowshoeing, skiing, backpacking, fishing - anything not constantly tearing at your body, and you prefer a quick drying fast removal velcro band that also looks great check out the Fast Wraps.
