This is a beautiful watch, much more substantial and attractive than the photos would indicate. It seems to be very accurate and ruggedly built. I love it except for one odd quirk: it has 2 separate digits for the dater, and when it flips past the number 31, instead of going to 01 it goes to 32. And 33. And 34. And on through 39 and then 00 and then 01. Very odd! I thought it was broken but Mondaine's repair shop tells me it is a "European movement" and just has to be reset every month. Oh well. Any dater has to be reset in 28 and 30 day months anyway. Still, a cool watch. Just requires a little more owner involvement than most.Product Description
