Its a beautiful watch, but you expect the strap to be better. Dont be fooled when the product says clip, its not one of those clips that come on Metal straps, its a boring old style clip with holes on one strap and fastener on the other. Crummy strap spoils the look, otherwise the dial looks classy, picture perfect.
This is a very pretty watch. The face is a little big for a woman's wrist, but still looks delicate enough. 3 weeks after I got it there was a huge crack across the crystal though, so it had a pretty short life.
This watch is really nice. It has a very elegant looking simple clock face. It's made with great material and even has an Italian leather strap. The watch feels like it's worth more than I paid for and I haven't regretted buying this watch since it came in the mail nearly a month ago. It looks great, it's very fashionable, and it also gets you lots of attention from your friends, family members and strangers. 
I got mine at local Macy's on slaes, ~35. It is very light and cool, especially with summer light colored dresses.
Great watch, very soft leather strap. I saw this at Macys and loved the look and finish. Smaller dials are for day of the week (Monday through Sunday) and date (1 through 31). Easier to set day and date on this watch as compared to earlier Skagen models. Uses two seperate depressed buttons on sides and not dial for day and date setup. Got it for much less at Kenmar watches.
I bought this watch as a gift for Christmas from the Skagen website. The day after I gave it to my boyfriend, we were drinking coffee and the crystal face just shattered; he did not even hit his wrist on the table, it was just still and shattered. The customer service was so great, they sent us a replacement... a week later, we were watching t.v., same thing happened. Received another replacement; walking the dogs, shattered. Skagen told me they were having issues with the crystal shattering with other customers as well. As beautiful as the watch is, stear clear until they figure out the problem.
I love the mininalist look, the thinness, but within the first week of wearing this watch, the crystal cracked down the middle.I really have no idea how this happened, and can only chalk it up to cheap materials and/or construction.
Lovely watch, a little on the blingy side for Skagen but still sleek and beautiful. The stainless mesh band is quite wide on this model so the watch makes quite a statement on the wrist. I've had many compliments and people assume it's an extremely expensive watch. I'm glad it's not!
I have 4 other Skagen watches.This watch isn't my favorite but I love it anyway and the price is fantastic!
This is a beautiful watch at a wonderful price. It was a graduation gift for our 18 yr old daughter. She really liked it. I am having a little trouble with setting the smaller dials on the face, but it is not that important to her. We can get it set right at a jeweler.
I am more then satisfied with the quality, as well as the appearance, of this watch. It is big enough so that I can see the time without having to use a magnifying glass, but at the same time, sleek enough to have earned me many compliments on it. I would recommend this watch if you're looking for a sleek, practical watch with great quality at a great price!
I adore this watch. Looks amazingly beautiful and very stylish. Thin white leather band matches almost everything, and the dial doesn't pop out (like many other watches). The size is just right - not too small, or too big. I'm very allergic to metal and can only wear surgical steel/gold/silver. This stainless steel doesn't cause allergic rash on my sensitive skin. Another reason why I love it. I bought this watch in the dpt store and paid $5-10 more than listed price on Amazon. So, you can be sure it is a good deal.
The watch is exactly as described. It's timeless in style, but modern, too. I wear it with everything everyday because it's perfect for every outfit. The face is large enough without being bulbous or clunky. In fact, the face is flat and contoured to fit the curve of your wrist.
I absolutely love this watch. It is very thin and I always forget that it's on my wrist. It is made of really high quality leather...the more you wear it, the softer and more comfy the leather band gets. The dark rich blue face dial is gorgeous...it shines brilliantly and it seems to always attract attention when I'm wearing it.And it also keeps really good time. This is my first Skagen...and since purchasing this watch, I've purchased 2 other Skagens on Amazon of which I'm also really impressed by its craftsmanship.If you're having trouble making up your mind...hopefully my review will help you out.
This is the second Skagen watch I am buying for my husband and he loved both of them. The slim design looks really chic, plus it truly is a gorgeous watch. His first one lasted about 4.5 years and after the second battery change started going behind, so I gave him this one for Christmas. He loves it and you can get the wristband adjusted for free in any department store which carries the brand (I know for sure Von Maur and Nordstrom). They use special tool to take links of the wristband so I wouldn't recommend attempting to adjust it yourself.
I love this watch! It goes well with most any outfit, is easy to read and is very feminine.I wasn't sure if I would like the larger size but was pleased with the light,non-clunky,feel and bracelet like look.
This watch is comfortable on my wrist.I also like that it's wide, bold and yet sleek and elegant and a lovely, deep black. It also runs well and is easy to read.I first saw the watch in silver on another woman.She had very slender wrists with small, elegant hands and it looked good.I have narrow wrists and long hands and it looks good on me too.
The clasp is a little difficult but all in all it is a good watch thats light, accurate, and looks alright.
I was totally surprised once I opened the box. Watch size was much bigger than I had expected. Watch dimenstion description has to be updated properly for rectangular watches so it gives clear idea on watch size.
Very Good to Excellent overall watch. Worth the money, especially thru Amazon where I just bought my 2nd one for $65. In store pricing on the first was $100. HERE"S WHY I"M BUYING ANOTHER: Nice slim styling with a strong band. People have commented on this one (as I did on others before I got mine) and it's a fair deal for what you get. The clasp stays closed and the Battery worked for 16 months and is easily found at Radio Shack for $5.
