The picture is correct but it is not a "double" ridge, rather a single ridge.The leather is thick but much more pliable than the review by J. Labrousse led me to expect.I do agree that this would not be a good band for a thin watch.I have it on a Seiko SNK803K2 Automatic and it looks fantastic. Color is slightly warmer than the picture indicates but is is not red.Very nice stitching and the deployment is smooth and sturdy.I also got a 5% "summer sale" discount when I confirmed the order which was a nice bonus.
