The GV2 4001 is a large, heavy watch and band, and everything about it is first class.(The large, luminescent numerals make it difficult to estimate the face's true size from a picture.)Mine came in a large lacquered wooden jewelry box, with room for several watches and many cufflinks, and that was nested inside a gray linen presentation box. Gervil is an old Swiss name reborn in 2001 and headquartered in NYC.The Gervil brand is used on very limited production models, and GV2 on the rest. This GV2 watch features a skeleton back, a round, textured, black dial with a rectangular day and a square date window next to the 3:00 position, the black textured dial has luminous hour markers, the GV2 logo under the 12:00 position, "Automatic" above the 6:00 position, luminous hour and minute hands with white outlines, a yellow seconds hand with a luminous arrow tip, and minute/seconds markings with white numerals around the outer edge of the dial.
