The metal on the watch is slightly darker than what is pictured in the photo but not too much darker. A marcasit-like border surrounds the mother-of-pearl face plate. I had to replace the battery as it was dead. Since replacing the battery, the watch has ran fine. For an every-day beautiful watch, I recommend this one but expect to replace the battery on arrival.Product Description
