Review of Baume & Mercier Men's Capeland Automatic Chronograph Leather Watch #8491

I'll keep it short and simple. The mechanicals are great, true swiss craftsmanship, the watch keeps impeccable time for an automatic, as good as my GMT II.Now the bad, the strap. The strap fell apart within a week, by fall apart I mean the glue at the pin side of the watch band started to come undone causing the alligator skin to separate form the cow hide inner portion. Also there are no instructions on how to set up the clasp and strap, the watch fell off my wrist twice before I figured it out.I gorilla glued the strap and have had no problems since.I may have had just a bad strap, the local watch store where I live said they have sold hundreds of these with out any problems.I will also add they sell this watch at a much higher price.
