This could be the best watch I've ever owned.Why do you ask?The big face looks absolutely great on my arm.And I have thin arms and had reservations about the bigger faced watches.This didn't overwhelm my wrist like I thought it would.The dark blue face against the stainless steel looks great.
The watch band - made out of rubber...I have to admit I wasn't sure about this.I had it fixed in my mind that I wanted brown leather.Stainless steel watch bands don't work well for me...they slip and slide around because of my thin arms.The rubber material actually works to my advantage - it forces the watch to "stick" in place without getting a creepy feeling.I don't think I would be happy with a watch of this size *without* the rubber band now that I've tried it.
The workmanship gives this watch the feel of a much more expensive timepiece.The face has a nice heavy feel to it, and the rubber watch band is solid.
Value - this is an absolute steal at $70.
Overall - this watch makes a nice bold statement...it's a great crossover from dressy style over to a more sporty look. I can wear this out on a date or on the trail.It's classy, sporty, and doesn't have a lot of nonsensical bling.Good work Fossil!
