I bought this watch from Amazon store as a gift for my mom and she really likes it. There are not many automatic watches for ladies out there with casual look and this one is just perfect. It has nice display, it's not too heavy, could be slimmer though.

When I bought it I paid for it $135. After 1 week I saw price dropped to $81! I asked Amazon customer service for a refund of a difference and guess what- AMAZON DOESN'T HAVE PRICE PROTECTION POLICY!!! They are allowed to change prices daily and if you aren't lucky like I weren't, you can get ripped off from your purchase just in a few days for $50 or more bucks :( !

It took me a long time sifting through the details of the various Casio G-Shock watches available.None of them had all of the exact features I wanted, but I like the look and features of this one.I don't think the 3 dials at the top are particularly useful, but it does what it says it's supposed to and the silver case with gold face gives it a little more of a classy look that a pure outdoors tough look.Now if they made an atomic & solar version of this, that's what I'd prefer.The atomic solar versions either didn't display both date and day at the same time or didn't have a comparable countdown timer or a countdown timer at all, or the alarm had less features.I like the size of it too--it is smaller and lighter than my Timex Expedition Adventure Tech Shock w/compass, and cost less.[...]

Review of Classic Aviator, Panerai-Style (22mm Regular, Black)

The band looks pretty good, wraps comfortably around my wrist and it doesn't make my wrist sweat. I've only had it for a few weeks, so durability is still to be seen. The only issue i've had is with the pins, if you are doing any kind of sports, your watch will fall off. But I might just need to switch the pins.

Review of Nautica Men's Ocean 50 Chronograph Watch #N29512G

This watch is as stunning when you open it out of the box as it is when you see it on the Internet. Comfortable and easy to use, the Nautica Chronograph in orange offers a good mix from the usual black leather watches I wear. What I appreciate about the Nautica is that the bezel dial is big, about 50mm across or 55mm if you count the crown, and for me 50mm is the minimum in my watches. The day before I received the Nautica, I was at the mall and I tried on a handsome Movado with a red dial, which costs $1,300. I must say the Movado I tried on, as attractive as it is, does not look as striking as my Nautica, which I purchased for $280 and which I can say gives me a lot of bang for my buck.

Review of Invicta Men's Pro Diver Collection Chronograph Watch #5443

Of the dozen or so Invictas in my collection, this is my favorite. Invicta's design team has distinguished itself with some great designs that are contemporary, while retaining classic lines. This Pro Diver Yachting Edition is a great example.

The size is perfect in this era of larger watches - it will look formidable on any wrist, but not overpower as some in the 50+mm range might.

The finish of the case and bracelet is equal to some of the most expensive watches on the market. The wave pattern of the guilloche face is reminiscent of Omega's Seamaster Pro.

The 10-minute countdown and 24-hour elapsed time racing timers and the 12-hour alarm are features that add greatly to the functionality of the watch.

For those who, like me, think this is a "must have," - and because Invicta does not provide any kind of instruction manual specific to this watch - go to the ISA site (at [...], click on "Technical Info" and scroll down to the ISASport category and click on the instruction manual for the calibre 8270 in whichever language you prefer. Everything you need to know about this movement is included in that manual. (NOTE: The 24-hour bezel Invicta includes is strictly cosmetic; there is no GMT function for this watch.)

I had never heard of this brand before, but decided to take a risk. I have been searching for years to find a man's square or rectangle faced watch with a red and pink dial. Finally, I found one. Chronotech makes a pink and two red variations. I ordered the pink one and received it today. What a beauty! A pink metallic dial with chrome "12" and "6"! They look black in the photos, but indeed they are bright silver. I am going to order the darker red one now! The best part is, the watch is just the right size. Some watches are too big and look like a satellite on your arm.

This is a beautiful watch, and so far it has kept good time, but the seconds dial at the bottom is already malfunctioning.When used in the chronometer mode, it resets to 4 instead of 0.A minor glitch, but hopefully not indicative of things to come.The fit and finish is excellent, but don't let that fool you into believing you are getting that quality in internal parts.This is a quartz model, with a battery, and I would not invest in an automatic at these prices.I would also choose one of the less expensive and simpler models without the chronometer function.For one thing, the buttons to activate it feel "iffy," like they are binding on something internal.Chronometers are complicated anyway, and just something else to go wrong in an inexpensive watch.

As I said, it does seem to be keeping good time, and I can't really say enough about how good this watch looks.It reminds me of the much more expensive IWC Pilot's watches. As long as you view it as a "fashion" watch, it is a nice one, but I don't know how dependable it will be in the long run.

I just received my second delivery of this watch.The first one i purchased from ebay, and after 2 days it went haywire.I put in a what I thought was a new battery from Radio Shack, but the watch was still acting weird.The display was showing some jibberish and it made weird noises.I returned the watch and bought this one from Amazon, opened up the box and it was dead.I ended up metering the battery and it read .12 volts.It is supposed to read 1.5 or more volts.I also metered the battery from Radio Shack.That one only read .42 volts.Did I return the other watch for no reason?Did it just need a new battery?Turns out, Yes.I returned the weak Radio Shack battery, exchanged it for one that read 1.54 volts in the store, brought it home and the watch worked fine.I've read other reviews on this watch and i've seen similar descriptions of wacky this happening after a period of time.This watch needs at least 1 volt of power to work right.Nike came out with this watch at the end of 2005 and most of the batteries will be dead if you buy one now.Just have some spare batteries around to enjoy this watch.Buy this watch if you are looking for a comfortable, simple, durable, wicked cool, and affordable timepiece.

I didn't give it a five because I'm sure I could somehow be more impressed. I'm not sure how, but it is, indeed, possible. I love this watch. It's beautiful and accurate. Just make sure you wind it before you wear it. Even though it's an automatic watch, it needs a kickstart in the beginning.

Changing the day, weekday, and month are a tad tedious. Not difficult, but time consuming.

I was looking for a watch that didn't have too large a face and wasn't too thick or bulky.I had purchased a similar diver's watch that had a 43mm face, and that appeared too large on my relatively small wrist.This self-winding Seiko watch fit the bill, but actually lookssmaller than I expected.The face is 38mm.It's a nice looking, solidly built watch, which you can buy at a reasonable price. In the end, I would prefer something with just a little larger face. Maybe I'll get it right next time.

Review of Timex Men's Classic Watch #T28612

I've used Casios for many years and after the last one died after only two years, I started searching for a nice looking watch for a reasonable price.After eliminating countless models from Casio through Heuer, I rediscovered Timex, a brand I hadn't bought in 20 years.

I was concerned about the watch's face and band being too blue, but the color is quite dark.The light blue accents on the band look good.So far the case and glass face are quite durable.I paid something like $38--I would have trouble getting a metal cased Casio for this money.

I wonder about the battery life since I can hear the sweep second hand move from 8 inches away--must take a lot of battery power to generate that sound, which I believe is by design.

Instantly my new favorite watch.The actual watch part is fairly conventional, your usual chronograph face with your usual chronograph functions.Works perfectly well.
But the band is what sets it apart.The thermoplastic links almost glow.They have a soft feel and make the watch very light in weight as well.
My wrists are fairly narrow, so I had to have three links removed to make it fit.But the fit is now perfect, with the one of the best deployment clasps I have yet used.
Highly recommend it.

Review of Seiko SNP005 watch

This watch is a real showstopper. The picture does it no justice. The face is quite large but not too large. The calfskin band has a deployment clasp. The polished stainless steel and sapphire crystal shimmer very nicely in the light. The perpetual calendar keeps track of leap years and the watch is equipped with auto-relay so that the hands fall asleep after 24 hours of non-use to preserve energy but saves the correct time for up to 4 years. The watch comes back to life with a few shakes and the hands go back to the correct time automatically. All in all, you cannot find such a functional and beautiful watch for anywhere near this modest price. I suggest searching for this watch on Ebay as I got mine from there for under four hundred dollars.

Review of Marc Ecko Men's Preppy watch #E85015G2

I purchased this watch while on vacation in the Bahamas. As when traveling abroad you worry you are paying too much under the auspice of "duty-free". For once, I didn't feel that way. I paid the exact same price as it is here on Amazon, minus the shipping and tax.

For the price this is an excellent daytime watch. I wore it all around the island while snorkeling, jet skiing, and hanging around. It was able to handle a beating without losing any of its look.

If you are looking for an inexpensive watch that looks nice, plays well, and can transition from day to night, I recommend this watch.

Review of Seiko Men's Retrograde Date Indicator Watch #SNT006

Unlike the gargantuan Nautica and other similarly-priced multi-dial watches, this Seiko is small, thin, and elegant.It is a completely normal-sized watch for a man, very light, and immediately comfortable to wear.The sub-dials include day-of-week, 24-hour time, and day-of-month, basically everything you would ever need on a watch (except a chronograph).The picture is basically accurate, but the case, hands, and time markings are all bright shiny gold, very nice, and the band is a lighter brown than what is shown, almost an orange-brown.All in all, the actual watch is nicer than the picture.

As a final note, read the instructions before setting the watch. It is not necessary to go around and around to set the day of the week... the instructions explain the right way to do it (which I neglected to read).I am really impressed with this watch, and I believe it has a three-year warranty to boot. Enjoy.

Review of BCBG Max Azria Women's Crystal Accented Watch #BG6116

I bought this watch and didn't know about its automatic movement until I didn't wear it for 2 days.I was pretty bummed that it had lost time, and thought I had to get the battery replaced.That made me pretty mad because I only had the watch 2 days.But then I realized that I didn't see a battery through the back of the watch, and then when I adjusted the time, I realized that I could wind my watch a little bit.Presto!I realized I had an automatic watch.

It is really fun to watch the inner workings of the watch.That's really what drew me to it.I haven't had a crystal stone fall off the face yet, but my watch is only 1 week old.The leather band is very comfortable, and the watch doesn't feel overly bulky or heavy like I had expected.No scratches on the watch face yet - but I'm used to sapphire faces so we'll have to see how this watch holds up to my abuse. All my other watches that didn't have sapphire crystal faces got scratched pretty bad - I learned my lesson.

Very subtle ticking noise - not enough to keep you awake at night like a Timex watch.I refuse to wear Timex because they are too loud when I'm trying to sleep and the watch is just in the room.The skeleton face and automatic movement is a great draw.Hopefully I can post an update once the watch has been through a bit with me.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.I would rate this watch a 5 star if it had a sapphire watch face.It's pretty, comfortable, feminine, and fun to wear.

Review of Superman Men's Golden Hawk Genuine Leather Strap Watch #WZ9563392

I really liked the look and feel of this watch, only one problem: the band is too short to get around my wrist! Now admittedly my wrist is a little on the larger size (8 inches); however, that is not on the extreme by any means (I believe the average American male's wrist is between 6.75" and 8.25"). The watch description does not give an actual measurement, but rather says "Band length: mens", so I assumed I'd be able to wear the watch, even if it was a bit snug. I was wrong. I can't even pull this thing tight enough to get to the first notch! Like I said, nice looking watch, but if you have even slightly larger wrists I'd avoid this one.

For those who wish to buy this watch, the band-length is 7.5" to the first notch (if your wrist is bigger than that then don't bother with this purchase unless you want a "collectible" or to have to immediately replace the band).

I ordered this for a 22mm Watch Band that tapered to 20mm.It is very well built, with tight tolerances and locks up very well.The release "wings" are easy to get to and the pin/'overlock' portion closes well.

I purchased a Modena 22mm clasp (Hadley-Roma/Amazon didn't have a polished 22mm clasp) for another watch and the quality just isn't the same.Depending on the watch and your budget I guess you could go with the Modena offerings in similar size and finish, but the Modena was just a bit sloppier and loose in its fit and build quality.I will spend a little more in the future and buy the Hadley-Roma offerings if they have the size and finish I need.

Review of Skagen Men's Swiss Brown Leather Watch #584LSL

This watch is really nice. It has a very elegant looking simple clock face. It's made with great material and even has an Italian leather strap. The watch feels like it's worth more than I paid for and I haven't regretted buying this watch since it came in the mail nearly a month ago. It looks great, it's very fashionable, and it also gets you lots of attention from your friends, family members and strangers.

The only drawback that I see to this watch is that sometimes it is hard to tell what time it is exactly because there are no numbers printed on the face but it is still a nice fashionable watch. If you're more into the design of the watch and looking for something that is different and fashionable at the same time this is your watch but if you're looking for accuracy I suggest looking around more.
