Review of Baume & Mercier Men's Capeland Automatic Chronograph Leather Watch #8491

I'll keep it short and simple.The mechanicals are great, true swiss craftsmanship, the watch keeps impeccable time for an automatic, as good as my GMT II.Now the bad, the strap.The strap fell apart within a week, by fall apart I mean the glue at the pin side of the watch band started to come undone causing the alligator skin to separate form the cow hide inner portion. Also there are no instructions on how to set up the clasp and strap, the watch fell off my wrist twice before I figured it out.I gorilla glued the strap and have had no problems since.I may have had just a bad strap, the local watch store where I live said they have sold hundreds of these with out any problems.I will also add they sell this watch at a much higher price.

Review of Watch White Italian Leather Crocodile Grain

I have a thing for watches so I'm always wearing out my good leather bands. Before, I've gone to the jewelry store to get good quality bands, but they've been too expensive and have worn out too quickly. The quality of these bands surpasses my previous jewelry-store purchases and the cost is comparable. From now on, this is the brand I'm choosing. Also, a major gripe I've had with other bands are the flimsy strap loops that always break long before the band itself is worn. But I was happy to see that these loops are very sturdy and will last much longer.

Review of Vibralite 2 (with Plain Band)

It does what I bought it for, and it does it well, so it gets 3 stars.I bought this watch so I could wear earplugs and still wake up to an alarm.

However, the design is not elegant.As one other reviewer noted (possibly for the vibralite 3), it is way too easy to turn the vibrate feature off - a single button changes between vibrate/beep/silence modes.However, it doesn't seem like I can accidently hit this button, so it is forgivable, though worrying.

An example of the rough design is function of the button that changes vibrate/beep/silence modes.It has four settings: beep, vibrate, beep&vibrate, and off.When cycling through these modes, the watch vibrates & beeps for vibrate & beep mode, BUT ONLY WHEN TURNING THIS MODE OFF!It would make sense (and I believe this was the intention of the designers) if when you turn on vibrate mode, it vibrates to confirm this.But it only vibrates to confirm that you have just turned vibrate mode OFF.Fortunately, there is a visual indicator to indicate the mode, so this is only disappointing, and not disastrous.

There are other annoying things that standard digital watches have had right for many years, like:
After using a different function (like stopwatch), mode button takes you right back to time display.
When I turn on the light, it turns off as soon as I press any button - so forget about trying to set the watch in the dark - EVERY button turns the light off.

I'm guess they were first to market with this concept, because I couldn't find any competitors at all.

Bottom line, without competition, I would still buy this watch.

Oh, man! Right out of the box, the watch was one of my instant favorites.

No bells and whistles on this one, just the simple time of day, hour, minute, and seconds. But, wow! What a drop-dead gorgeous presentation. The bi-color gunmetal and steel case makes a sleek combination with the bi-color gray and black wideleather band. What a neat design concept!

Though I've usually preferred round-face watches, I'm really liking this large square-cut "in depth" black dial that contrasts with the steel hour and minute indicators and a neat yellow second hand.

Lately, Iv'e been rolling up my sleeves a couple of laps just to see and be seen in this Diesel. Bet you like it too.I give it all the stars.

I got the Vibralite because I have attention and memory problems and need reminders to get to meetings on time, take my medicine, etc.The watch is BIG, and I have to strap it far up my wrist because otherwise one of the control buttons - unfortunately, the one that can turn on and off the vibrating alarm feature - hits my hand frequently.Also, you have to set the alarm to go off daily, so I get an alarm at the same time every day for things that I have to do only one day a week.Since there are only two alarms on the watch, I have to rely on both it and my cell phone to get me places on time, which isn't really convenient.I think there are probably better choices out there.

Review of Nike Men's TI Watch #C0007-001

I bought the watch because I wanted a digital watch made out of titanium because of a nickel allergy that's in everything stainless steel. Have worn it over a month and it's comfortable and does not cause any reaction. I think that it's good looking too. My only complaint is that, unless you hit the backlight button, the contrast in the digital display isn't very high and it's a bit tough to see if you're taking a quick glance to tell the time.

Review of Manhattan Women's Interchangeable Bezel and Band Set #CM204166INBG

I bought this watch when Amazon had it for $25 one day.I wouldn't buy it for $5 today.The concept is fun- being able to swith watch bezels and straps to fit your mood and your wardrobe.I thought I was going to have a lot of fun with this watch.I still like the concept, it is the design and implementation that stinks.To change watch bezels you unscrew the current bezel and screw on a new one. Unscrewing the bezel also allows you to put different straps on.The problem is that no matter how securely I think I have screwed the bezel back on, that even though it feels really tight the bezel has a way of unscrewing by itself which makes the whole watch come apart and fall off.Once I didn't notice this had happened and found the pieces of my watch in my sleeve.The odds are high that this will happen some day and I will not recover all or any of the pieces.Additionally, the straps are very cheaply made and tend to fall apart.I wore the black strap for four days at work and the threads started breaking and coming apart- very unsightly and cheap looking.The guides for the watch strap to go through are also very flimsy.Finally, while I have other watches that are comfortable to wear at work, I found that over time the buckle would start to hurt my wrist when I rested my arm on the desk.So, unfortunately....cute idea but a bad deal.I would definitely suggest passing on this watch.

The width is 43mm (1.7in) and thickness is 14mm (.55in).If you would like a very large bulky watch, this is for you.I am not certain how they came up with a $695.00 retail price.Perhaps to entice you to believe that when you purchase for much less, you are getting a great deal.I believe that this watch is comparable to watches selling for about $100.00.I paid $65.00 and believe I paid a fair price. The case is stainless steel, the crystal is plastic and the band is rubber.Had I not purchased for such a low price, I would have been disappointed. Overall, it is a nice watch for the price I paid.

Review of Invicta Men's Pro Diver Collection Chronograph Watch #5447

Of the dozen or so Invictas in my collection, this is my favorite. Invicta's design team has distinguished itself with some great designs that are contemporary, while retaining classic lines. This Pro Diver Yachting Edition is a great example.

The size is perfect in this era of larger watches - it will look formidable on any wrist, but not overpower as some in the 50+mm range might.

The finish of the case and bracelet is equal to some of the most expensive watches on the market. The wave pattern of the guilloche face is reminiscent of Omega's Seamaster Pro.

The 10-minute countdown and 24-hour elapsed time racing timers and the 12-hour alarm are features that add greatly to the functionality of the watch.

For those who, like me, think this is a "must have," - and because Invicta does not provide any kind of instruction manual specific to this watch - go to the ISA site (at ISASWISS[dot]COM), click on "Technical Info" and scroll down to the ISASport category and click on the instruction manual for the calibre 8270 in whichever language you prefer. Everything you need to know about this movement is included in that manual. (NOTE: The 24-hour bezel Invicta includes is strictly cosmetic; there is no GMT function for this watch.)

Review of Zulu Ballistic Nylon Strap (22mm, 3-Ring, Black)

I bought this for a pilot style Wenger watch I bought from Amazon and I have to say I love the combination. It's a little stiff when you first get it but after a couple weeks it breaks in and becomes comfortable enough to even forget it's on your wrist. When it gets wet it dries fairly quickly and it doesn't make my wrist sweat so it doesn't smell funny after months of use(maybe that's a little too much info?). Any way it's a good strap for the money!

Review of Casio Black Atomic Solar G-Shock Watch

I have owned this watch for over 6 months now.
It has many positives and one negative.

1) For the money/features its a 10 out of 10
I own several watches, I choose to use
this one everyday

2) I was tired of buying watch batteries for my watches, even
ones that I haven't worn in many months.

3) I want a accurate watch, even my citizen watch lists
+/- 30 sec amonth?It fortunately is much more accurate
than that.
The G-Shock atomic is set 3 times a day to the atomic clock
in Colorado, it also tracks daylight savings so you don't
have to ever have to reset the time.

4) The G-Shock case is sturdy plastic and the face is recessed
to avoid scratches.

5) Its inexpensive enough that if I do seriously damage it
I am not worried about the cost of a replacement.

6) Good to 200m.I don't dive but I might go swimming.

Only downside is the time recorder feature.It will record a time/date event.????So what...I would rather have had a countdown timer instead of the mostly useless time stamp feature.

Hence my 4 of 5 (better would be 9 out of 10) rating.
I just bought another one of these for my father, and am
thinking of buying a 3rd one for my brother!

Review of Casio Men's G-Shock Limited Edition Atomic Tough Solar Watch #GW5525A-1

Great watch, has no problem syncing with atomic time server, smaller profile than most G shocks. I wear it every day with no problems, also like the solar feature that recharges internal battery. My only complaint is that there are no replacement bands available, at least at this time. I don't need one yet but experience has shown that these type of bands don't last forever and will need replaced at some point. Hopefully, a band will become available by the time I need one. But, don't let that deter you from purchasing this watch, I've very happy with it!

I bought this watch as a gift for Christmas from the Skagen website. The day after I gave it to my boyfriend, we were drinking coffee and the crystal face just shattered; he did not even hit his wrist on the table, it was just still and shattered. The customer service was so great, they sent us a replacement... a week later, we were watching t.v., same thing happened. Received another replacement; walking the dogs, shattered. Skagen told me they were having issues with the crystal shattering with other customers as well. As beautiful as the watch is, stear clear until they figure out the problem.

I had an impulse to not get this watch for the simple fact that I haven't had much luck with purchases like this. Usually the product isn't what you expect, maybe too big or maybe there is something defective with it.

I got this cat watch for my mom for Christmas, and I have to say it was a great product. First of all, the time delivering the product was quite speedy for the Christmas rush. Secondly, the watch itself was impressive in terms of its production and craftmanship. It is put together nice, and the work looks top rate. I was quite impressed with this watch. This is great gift to get the cat lover in your life.

Review of Casio Men's G-Shock Solar Atomic Digital Watch #GW810-1V

The watch is light, not that bulky, and fits well on my arm. The time calibration works as advertised, but don't forget to leave the watch on place where it can receive signals at night. Solar thing is a plus, but I don't know how the recharge battery inside will last.

What I don't like:
- The manual is so tiny for reading. I guess all Casio manuals are that small lately.
- The buttons are protected inside the watch body's case to prevent accidental pressing, so it is hard to press them if you have big fingers. Even I don't have big fingers, I do feel annoying when I have to press the buttons.

After all, I like it. I bought it when the price was cheaper with free shipping from Amazon.

Muy buen reloj, el tamaño es el mismo que el de la foto, pero para ser sincero es algo pesado, aunque nada que no se pueda usar, al cabo de un tiempo ni te enteras que lo tienes puesto. Hay que decir que la foto no le hace honor al reloj, pues es mucho mas pulido brillante y bonito que como lo muestran.
Es bastante llamativo, y lo recomiento siempre que se tenga una contextura alta para que el peso de este reloj no te pegue.

I just received the yellow dial - rubber band ladies watch. It's exactly what I was looking for. It's rugged but not manly. The band is rubber but smooth/soft like.

The watch casing is larger than the average ladies watch but still nice for a woman's wrist. The face color, casing and band combination give the watch a very sporty look. It has a rotating bezel which is useful regardless of what you use it for. To summarize the watch is sporty, rugged and somehow feminine.

Review of Timex Ironman Solar Traditional

This watch is great.After my previous timex watch died out, i went out on a hunt for a new watch and my hand landed upon this one.Since i bought it, it has proved a very reliable watch.

My only complaints are these.The first is that the numbers are not as bold as they appear in the picture.The only other minor complaint is that the Start/Split button needs to be pressed all the way down before it registers.I have gotten used to it and being as small as those problems are, i would buy this watch again in an instant and highly recommend it.

The band makes a cheap, tinny CLANK when you wear it.It finally fell apart.The movement keeps loosing several seconds a day. It is actually a purple, not blue.Over all.The worst piece of just you could buy.It is a very, "sloppy" movement.Hard to set as it is difficult to know what position the crown is in when you pull it out.You would be better off wearing a sun dial on your wrist.

Review of Fossil watch style # AM4161

This could be the best watch I've ever owned.Why do you ask?

The big face looks absolutely great on my arm.And I have thin arms and had reservations about the bigger faced watches.This didn't overwhelm my wrist like I thought it would.The dark blue face against the stainless steel looks great.

The watch band - made out of rubber...I have to admit I wasn't sure about this.I had it fixed in my mind that I wanted brown leather.Stainless steel watch bands don't work well for me...they slip and slide around because of my thin arms.The rubber material actually works to my advantage - it forces the watch to "stick" in place without getting a creepy feeling.I don't think I would be happy with a watch of this size *without* the rubber band now that I've tried it.

The workmanship gives this watch the feel of a much more expensive timepiece.The face has a nice heavy feel to it, and the rubber watch band is solid.

Value - this is an absolute steal at $70.

Overall - this watch makes a nice bold statement...it's a great crossover from dressy style over to a more sporty look. I can wear this out on a date or on the trail.It's classy, sporty, and doesn't have a lot of nonsensical bling.Good work Fossil!

Review of Bulova Men's Marine Star Chronograph Watch #98C69

It's so difficult to find a dual analog and digital watch, especially at this price. I ordered this watch from another vendor and was very disappointed to find that the digital display is BARELY visible.I called Bulova and was told by their engineering department that the photo of this watch (as are many watches) is significantly enhanced.I was further told that Bulova has received complaints about their analog/digital models (although I haven't see any others from Bulova).Bottom line is this is a great looking watch (rubber strap extremely cool) but has an unforgivable flaw, you can read it! Do not buy this watch based on the stock photo. You will be disappointed with the digital display. One other thing, if you do buy this watch and are reading the instructions, please note that to my knowledge, it does NOT have an alarm check (as the instructions indicate) nor do you press the B + C buttons to enable/disable the hourly chime. It's the A+B buttons.

Review of Diesel Men's Series IV Negative Display Leather Cuff Watch #DZ7035

This is a great watch for those who want something a little different. It still provides you with the most basic essentials: time, date, and backlight. If these are the only things you find yourself asking of your watch, then this is a great choice.

The face measures a little over 1 1/2" wide and negligibly slimmer for the rest of the band. I find this is perfect, as any slimmer would detract from the masculinity of the leather band, and any wider and it would be a bit too bulky. One feature I wish was a bit slimmer is the height of the face of the watch. It's about 1 3/4" wide and around 1/2" high. I don't mind the width as my wrist is pretty wide to start with, but I wish they would have slimmed down the height a little bit. I can't complain though, as in no way does it detract from the style or comfort of the watch.

The wear of the watch is very comfortable. The entire band is leather, and the clasp wraps around so that you don't see the buckle, save for three very small metal pieces holding it on, giving it an even more sleek style. The backlight is dim, but is easily seen. I like this as most watches backlights are on par with how bright my iPod's backlight is, which can be distracting if you're trying to be discreet.

All in all, a fresh and stylish watch that won't disappoint you!

I am in my late 50's and have difficulty with small print. I wanted a casual watch, which didn't look like jewelry, with an easy-to-read face. I prefer numerals on a watch face. The more subtle markings of many watches are difficult to read, even in bright light. This watch is exactly what I wanted. Cosmetically it has a military look, spartan and non-jewelry like. I requested the black nylon canvas band, but the watch came with the black leather one instead. It was a fortunate error, if it was an error. They may just have not had the band I requested in stock. In any event, the band is fine and I would have preferred it over the one I requested. This is the first item other than a DVD, which I have ordered on line. I usually feel less than confident that the graphic images are equal to seeing the real thing. In this case, the watch more than lived up to my expectations. I have had it for nearly one month and so far it keeps good time and I am very happy with my purchase. I feel that it was a very good value for the money.
